So I opened a little etsy store....
Actually, it feels strange to say that because etsy is not like ebay, as it turns out. You sort of "open" the store....and THEN stock it with stuff. Whatever. I'm stocking. Luckily, I spent quite a bit of time this summer and over the last year, designing artwork for my own home, so I have lots of artwork to share. Many will end up in the store, as I find the time to list them. Some may be shared as giveaways. Woot!
The idea behind this store is that artwork can be fun a whimsical or trendy, while still being affordable enough to replace seasonally or yearly, or whenever you just get sick of chevron. (nah!)
Anyway, to start off, I am selling custom sports "jerseys", which I create digitally, to look like (or represent) your team jersey...with your name on it. You see, I noticed that my kids do not get to have their names on their school jerseys (some do). That prompted me to start making 8 x 10 posters that looked like I had framed their jersey. They LOVED them! Score one for mom!
After that, I started making all kinds of school team posters to coordinate. Many of them look like framed Tshirts, which the kids think is pretty cool. They are customized to match team colors, kid's numbers, whatever....
Some people are big NFL, NBS, College fans. I can re-create those as well! (I cannot use licensed logos, etc, but the colors, etc are fair game.) yes, that was a pun.
I also have a few other types of typography posters and graphic art that will be for sale in the near future. The whole process has been loads of fun, so I'm excited to share it with others.
Anyway, the dishes are calling my name, but please go check out my etsy store and click the big/ little puffy heart labeled "favorite". PLEASE!
