I am loving this picture. That blue nail polish just makes my heart sing. It's so "her"!
I may have to use this in a new header design.
Mine was very crust-intensive and more dessert-like because I added more oatmeal since I had about 3/4 of a stick of butter that I needed to use up and it seemed crazy to cut off that little bit and put it back in the refrigerator. (I separate my salted {butter dish} and unsalted {refrigerator} butter.) Now you know more than you needed to know about it, don't you? Anyway, the kids are also nut-shy so if I am not cooking for company I usually just avoid the issue.
anyway....
on to the recipe. You can tweak it as you like. ;)
I have been loving how some of the bloggers will put their recipes on cards for you.
I love printing them out and having a nice little card for my book. So I made you one. It's rustic, except for the blue nail polish. ;)
I think it's clickable to a 4x6 card. Let me know how this works for you. It was pretty fun!
Thanks to KevinandAmanda for the "card".
If you are stuck in your ways, like me, you can click the regular text version here.
Baking Note:
I ended up covering mine for about 10 minutes just because I was nervous that the apples would dry out. That is the kind of baker I am...I glue myself to the oven window and watch the whole show. I love it. I love the witness the food melt and rise and bubble. It's like an episode of Nova right in my kitchen! :)

I wish I could blog the way I would write sometimes, with colors and me drawing little arrows from here to there. This is probably why I enjoy Noelle's Crayola Goodness so much. Seriously, I look forward to it every week, even if I am late. :) I totally want to copycat her. But I don't have her patience. But if I did, right now I would draw a red arrow down pointing to the "word" deets, which will make the skin crawl on both my husband and one brother...though my other brother would probably laugh. If he read my blog, which he does not.
here it comes...

I have the deets on the craft to end all crafts; the handmade gift to end all handmade Christmas gifts...I am working on a tutorial for you, so be sure to check back. I am wrapping up my great big chair project, so hopefully I will be posting some tutorials SOON!And yes, you will get to see the chair, but not until the kids see it. I think they deserve the first peek. :)

Also, tomorrow is Thursday, so come right back here to link up all your seasonal projects. I can't wait to see them!!***
One more thing: I have been meeting a lot of new bloggers lately. If you are reading this and you have a linky party that I don't know about ~Now go tell those you love that you do!

Apple and cranberries....what a perfect combo. It looks delicious.Add some vanilla ice cream and I am sold.
I couldn't love cranberries more. I adore them in anything and everything!
YUMMY... now I want some... right now... with vanilla bean ice cream! ;) I love apple and cranberries together!
This looks absolutely delicious! Going to make it!
What a simple recipe! We host Thansgiving each year and my husband is in charge of the turkey, the guests bring the sides and I'm do the sweets. I'm just now trying different Fall and Thanksgiving type recipes out for this year and this one has moved to the top of the list. It doesn't hurt that our neighbors just gave a us a ton of apples and we just got a peeler/slicer/corer! :-)
