Theme Party Thursday

Yay! It's Theme Party Thursday again!

This is the day we link up any and all posts that feature creative projects of the same theme (chosen by moi). This month's theme is, of course, Fall and Halloween. Any project you do, whether in the kitchen, garage or craft room is eligible for this party, so link 'em up, baby!

blog button

Here are the rules:

1) Please add the button (or text link) to you blog sidebar
or to the post itself so others can play along.
2) Please stick to the theme (as closely as you can)

3) Only family- friendly links, please.
4) If you link up, please do your best to visit some of the other participants.

Thanks for playing!

Since last week's party,
I am on my THIRD bag of Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses,
but still haven't gotten around to making these yet. Maybe I'll do it this afternoon. ;)

These were shared by Jocelyn at Inside BruCrew Life

My project this week was inspired by one of last week's links from Sourkraut. Here is the wreath she posted last week, which she entitled Along Came a Spider.

I was so enamored with the Spanish Moss, that I hopped on my own broomstick and flew over to the local Dollar Store. ;)

Here are the supplies I came home with:

First, I took some spray paint and painted the wreath lightly. I didn't need to make it pretty, but I was worried that I didn't buy enough moss to cover it well, so I wanted it to be darker.

I put a light coat of spray adhesive on the wreath and then squeezed the Spanish Moss into place. Easy! I liked this better than hot glue because I tend to burn my fingers. :)

I wrapped the moss in this fuzzy black yarn that I picked up just because it looked creepy to me.

I like the effect.

If you look closely you can see a glimpse of my new blue chairs. I {heart} them.

Next, I just glued some of the stuff on.

And here is the result:

I wanted to put a bow on it so badly, but the kids wouldn't let me.

LOL

Now it's your turn! Show me your fall and Halloween crafts. Inspire me.

Holy technical difficulties, Batman! Sorry for the spacing issues. xo

I wish I had your craftiness. I love it.

So glad to see I inspired someone! Your wreath looks just great! Clever idea to add the yarn. Is it bad that I already have most of the materials you used and am now tempted to make another wreath?

I love the new header, too. And sorry... but I have nothing crafty, today. It's soccer and football season here, which means, all I do is work!

Wow I LOVE that, it's totally craft show worthy. I would buy one, maybe now I will consider making it...hmm. We'll see, thanks for the idea!!

I could actually handle making that wreath. I'm not capable of much, but I think that I could do. Love it!

I cracked up at how you threw the navy blue chairs in there - which happens to be my favorite color, by the way, so I love them!

Ooooh, I want to make a wreath!

The header makes me want a pumpkin spice latte and a long nap!
