Halloween Snack Mix

My mother introduced me to this concept a few years back, but every time I make this, I am surprised how much I love it. Like many of mom's recipes, there is no measuring, just mix till it looks and tastes right.

For this Halloween Mix I used

Buttered and Salted Popcorn from my favorite popcorn shop.
Melted White chocolate...for a microwave bag, I'd use 2-3 squares.
You can always use any extra as a pretzel dip (one of my familiy's favorite snacks!)
Candy Corn
Mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Halloween sprinkles

I would have added

1) crushed Oreos if I had had any.
2) peanuts if I were serving guests (my kids don't really like nuts)

I just dyed the white chocolate orange and drizzled it over the popcorn, then tossed until it was lightly coated.  The darker the color of the chocolate, the prettier this is. If you want it pretty much all coated, put it in a bag or a closed container and shake.

Then I just threw in the other stuff, tossed it a little and chowed down set it in a bowl in case someone stopped by.

Next time I think I'll melt the chocolate too and go for a little Jackson Pollack popcorn.

I'm going to link this post up to the parties in my sidebar, even though I am "fashionably late".

I don't think I'd be able to stop munching on this, especially if I were to add Oreos like you suggested.
