I decided at the last minute to participate in the
iheartfaces Constructive Feedback Friday.
This is where people post photos that they would like help with. Hopefully they get all kinds of helpful feedback and suggestions.
I did not submit a photo, but I selected Heather's picture and played around with it a little.
Here is the original
This is what I did to it.
1) I ran Coffeshop's Baby Powder Room to try to adjust some of the skin tones.
2) Then I created a Gaussian blur layer and masked off the little girl, just to bring the focus to her a little more.
3) Then I made a duplicate layer and set it at "soft light".
In retrospect, maybe I should have run a sharpening action or noise reduction first,
but I didn't think of it at the time.
I was still annoyed by the colors in the background, so I cropped them out some.
Plus, I love me some tilt!
Thanks to iheartfaces for hosting this fun project!

Looks like fun. She's so cute!!
I like the tilt. It draws your eye to the subject and takes it off of the background makeing the background less distracting. Good edit!
