How to Roll Silverware

I already showed you this shot of the "fancy" tea party we had for the Daisies.

Take note of the silverware.
Can you find it?
I am going to show you how to roll your silverware just like they do in a restaurant.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Step 4

Step 5
I used a grosgrain ribbon and some fabric glue to fasten it.

You can get really creative here.

I made these daisy clips for the girls out of silk flowers and large gems.

I used alligator clips on them.

Step 6

Just slip the clip under the ribbon.

When the girls sat down to eat, they had a pretty table and a new hair clip too!

Thanks for posting this--I'm absolutely psycho about napkins. I can even fold them to look like little button down shirts.

What a treasure trove of ideas here. I'm betting some of those adorable flowers would look just too cute in the little girls hair. Even a big girls too.

Thanks for stopping by. It's been a mental block week for me....off to get thinking up something fun to post.

Toodles,
Kate

And let me tell you, after working as a server for several years, I can crank like 100 rolls out in easily less than 20 minutes. And I thought I'd never use that skill again. I just need to host a little party...

The clips are adorable! If you are every in mid-mid-missouri, could you swing by and help me out with decorating, revamping, etc? I'm totally serious.

Oh man, I worked at a restaurant for 2 years so I know how to fold cutlery. But we never had any cute napkin holders or flowers- those definitely add a little something to the appearance. VERY cute!

What a cool idea. I was okay with the utensil wrapping ... but the flower clip blew me away.

Such cute bling for your table and what a brilliant little favor for everyone to take home. Nicely done!
