Sunscreens and Tanners

This week, I am talking all about the sun.

In an effort to stay safe in the sun, I have searched high and low for sunscreens and self-tanners that work for me. I have tried product after product. (Back in the day we even took beta-carotene supplements to turn us orange from the inside out!) So, when I find something I love, I feel I need to share it with you. I wish I were getting paid to bring this little ad to you, but I am not. But hey, if you work for Neutrogena, feel free to send me some swag. K.Thanks.

I love Neutrogena products. Right here, in this post, I will spare you the gory details of my personal battle with acne, but I will say that if a product is NOT non-comedogenic, I won't even look at it twice. So I always know I am safe with Neutrogena products, as they are all non-comedogenic, meaning they won't clog up your  pores. Of course, I have a lot of their sunscreen products, but this one is my new favorite.

This is my secret weapon.

What a genius idea, don't you agree?
SPF 30.
check.
self tanning.
check.
CHECK.
Does not feel greasy.
CHECK!

I actually have pretty oily skin for someone my age, but this lotion has a nice, matte (read: non-sticky) finish to it. When I wear it (most days in the spring. summer. fall) I can't tell I am wearing anything. I can even put make up over it if I am going somewhere.

I would love to know what your favorite sun protection products are. We have been spending so much time outside with all this beautiful weather, that we are constantly covering up or slathering ourselves with lotion. What's your secret weapon for staying safe in the sun?

I'm linking up with Works For Me Wednesday and I'm Lovin' It 'cause this lotion works for me and I love it!!

I love Neutrogena products. I use their dry skin lotion, but I never tried the sunblock. Must put it on my list this summer.

I try to stay out of sun as much as I can.

I shy away from the sun. I love him but he doesn't love me back.
I just slather up with any #45 sunscreen so I can't help you with a secret weapon as I don't have one!

Have a sunny day Jami!

Nice to meet you. It looks like a great product. I often use self tanners but, they don't seem great for then going out into the actual sun.
I'll give this a try.

Ooh, I have to try it. I use sunless tanner on my legs and heavy sunscreen on my face and arms. I've been using Bain de Soleil, but it gets pricey!
