I have been doing a lot of reading (blogs) lately.
It amazes me how many blogs are out there that I had not discovered!
I decided to put up a Linky on Fridays so we can all meet some of these awesome bloggers.
Then I drug Jill from Barnes Yard in on my scheme. ;)
Of course, she was up for a challenge, even though there is no spray paint involved (that we know of.. )
We're calling it Make New Friends Friday
Of course, you know, being a Girl Scout, I loved the title!
I'm singing the song right now.
Jill and I will co-host this "blog party" by putting up a Linky every Friday in April. That's FIVE FRIDAYS! We dare you to join us.
Each week, we are going to feature one blog each .
Then it's your turn.
Here are the rules:
- Write a blog post about a blog you want to shout about.
- Include a link to the blog, please.
- Be sure to add our Button to your post.
- Come back to either Aint She Crazy or Barnes Yard and add your link. You will only need to add it to ONE of the sites.
Our Button:

Hopefully, by stopping in, you will learn about some really fun new blogs
(or old blogs that have somehow escaped your notice)
If you know of a blog you would like to introduce, please link up and play along!

NOW IT"S TIME TO MAKE A NEW FRIEND!!
While I was surfing on Sunday, I found a blog called At Second Street. From one mom of 4 to another, I have to give Kalleen a hand. She is super creative! I chose three of her projects to preview for you below. But TRUST ME...that are SO many more!
Go there! You will love it!

Check out these trees she made by tracing the arms and hands of her kids. Let's face it, not all kids' craft projects are created equal but these look great and are an example of kids art you can keep. (and even display!)

Holy Cow! I STILL can't get over this project!
My kids would go absolutely CRAZY for this!
I am going to have to think on it a bit to decide how I will put my own spin on this project.

You will NOT believe what she did with this old thrift store handbag. I WANT to show you, but you will have to click the picture to find out. Go there are see it! I am SERIOUS. You won't believe it! I WILL say this: I would have never thought of sewing leather, but it makes sense, right? Somebody sews it, of course!
Just to let you know, I am not getting paid or compensated in any way to tell you about this blog. Heck, I don't even know this lady! I just wanted to share her crafty coolness with all of you.
Now, if you have a blog you'd like to introduce,
please add your link below.
