It is truly not like me to be so colorful. Back in the 80's when Color Me Beautiful was all the rage, I would have been an AUTUMN. If you are too young to know what I am talking about, count yourself...well, young...then click the link. Turns out, they are still around. Who knew! Anyway, suffice it to say I am not a bright color type person.

I will not be eating off this plate because God only knows where it was made and what toxins it contains, but it makes a sweet little decorative piece. I am thinking of stamping it with a fleur-de-lis.

This used to have sort of a dark copper finish.
In the center photo, you can see what happens when you do not wipe the finish well. Just keepin' it real. :)
I was going for Isabel Bloom, in blue.

Either way, all sorts of blues are slowly creeping their way across my home.
In fact, I have a couple more projects lined up for this particular shade of blue.
It may be unusual, but it sure is fun!
PS. Now I am really missing my wider margins!

That blue is from Lowe's it is Valspar Brand. The closest to turquoise they had. :)
