Fix-It Friday-and Some Bloggy Business

busy, busy day...aren't they all?

I decided to try my hand at the i heart faces challenge this morning because I got some new textures over at Oscraps. They are VERY affordable, even for a novice, like me. Check them out!

I am not sure I fix everything the "right" way yet, but I am learning.

Here is the fix I came up with using some Photoshop tweaking and a texture from Photology by Emily Powers. I wish I had a designer link for you, but I don't. :(

Too much texture on the skin? I am not a fan of "lizard skin" so I usually clean that all up, but I couldn't decide today, so I left it. Besides, I have one home sick today and between trips to the potty, she is pretty hyper happy and they were playing London Bridge under my legs, under my desk while I was trying to edit this, so I was really just happy to get it done if you know what I mean. (I add this in for those of you who have been there, so you don't feel alone. 'cause you aren't. I'm right here with you. A little CRAZY most some days. :)

I'm just in a bit of a mood today. I have so much to do, but first a bit of Bloggy Business:

I have decided NOT to participate in the link-up for the Friday Follows this week.

This is mostly because it is SO MUCH WORK. whew!

I have to spend some time here at home, with my family today. You understand. 

I am in the middle of painting a bathroom and some hat rack thingys for the boys' room. 

And she's home "sick".

I was supposed to be volunteering today and having coffee with some of my lady-friends girls.

dang it!

I'll stop whining now.

The other piece is this: I have been {trying} to do some new and exciting stuff here behind the scenes. But there are only so many hours in the day! So this relatively random and un-thought-out post is just to say I may be M.I.A. this weekend. Hopefully, the blog will be WAY COOLER by Monday.
