Crazy About It!

Do you ever see something (say...while you are sitting at your computer sipping a Diet Coke, whiling away the hours before pick-up time?) that makes you say this?

whoa! I love that!
(like this)

Well of course you do, right? We all do!

Since it is February and all, I was thinking that for this whole month I'd like to
randomly just pop up stuff that I like.
You know: Stuff I am CRAZY ABOUT.
STUFF I {LOVE}.

I am supposed to be working on my annual goals...photography, illustration, room painting, scrapbooks, twitter,  blogging...
Oh wait! This falls under that category, right!

OK. So here we go.... You will get the joy of seeing some cool stuff and I am going to try my darn-dest to make it stuff you can get a hold of too, 'cause I am cool like that. And I am a freak for EYE CANDY. Yes I am! If it is something you have to purchase I will show you where. If I find a freebie, I will share it.
Got the idea?

So remember the other day when I posted this?

Well, I told you where I found that cute stuff, right? Wikimedia Commons.

Let me tell you, I am LOVING it!

When you are a blogger, or a scrapbooker, you are probably always looking for pictures you can use legally. I am no legal expert. In fact, forget I mentioned the law at all. I know nothing of it!

But I hear that you can read for yourself that many of these files are copyright free
They also have a handy-dandy little search engine right there so you can find the goodies that work for you! How cool!

I am linking this little 'ole post to Works-For-Me-Wednesday at We Are That Family because although I may not have the best Blogging Tips out there, I can point you in a direction or two for finding you own good stuff. And in the mean-time, for this month, I will share my own obsessions  loves, in honor of Valentine's Day.

Here's a little something I found while playing in Wikimedia Commons:

I don't know why, but I LOVE bees. Maybe it's because I, myself am a queen-bee-type.
just kidding! I think.
Anyhoooo....I remembered how much I love them when I saw this post: at Babeeling Designs Boutique.

My bee is free for your right-clicking pleasure. Hers is NOT. Got it?

*DISCLAIMER: I REALLY don't know anything about copyright law. (I wasn't kidding.) So, just to be safe I generally do not use files that require attribution. I think it's safer this way. :)

I love this post...a little bit of everything! I always hear about Kevin and Amanada and don't think I have gone over there yet! The bee is great...I love bees. I recently stumbled across Wikimedia Commons...all the copyright law scare me!

Thank you for that link. I'm always looking for cool pictures to add to my blog, but no one wants to share their sources. Some people are so uppity about stuff on their blog.

I once had a lady complain that I didn't ask her first when I quoted ONE sentence from a post of hers, along with a link to her blog and a recommendation to check it out. (Needless to say, I deleted the whole post...not smart marketing on her part, I say!)

Side Note: If anyone wants to borrow a pic or a quote from my blog and give me credit and link back to me, feel free, have a field day! I'd love the free publicity! LOL

Anyway, thanks for the link, I'll definitely use it.
