I have had this for ...oh...2 years?
I thought it was cool, but I am having a hard time with it.
I have never hung it or set it out.
What should I do with it?
Should I paint it? Add some sliver touches? Or just leave it alone and set it on top of the piano or hang it on a wall? It is so dark and makes such a big focal point that it has intimidated me I guess.
Looking forward to your creative ideas! Thank you!

It needs a big space either on the wall or piano. With some indirect lighting. Where did you find this goodie? I do like it a lot. Can't tell if it's wood or metal from the picture. How's about a table top with a piece of glass on it. Just a thought, I'll keep thinking.
Are you done with this weather yet? When was the last time we saw the sun.
OH!!! I LOVE that!! How big is it? Large enough to hang above a bed as a mock headboard? What if you paired it in a grouping to make it "bigger"? I have some cool antique keys hanging on my wall....they surround cool mirrors with bronzed frames I found at a craft store.... I also have a white-washed picket fence section on the wall. It used to be a headboard, but now it hangs on the wall with some candle sconces a floral prints. My mom has some antique Japanese urinals on the walls in her DINING ROOM!! (You'd have to see them, they're beautiful). I'm a BIG fan of hanging weird "stuff" on the walls.... But I also like the idea of turning it into a tabletop....it would be great as a coffee table or outside on a patio....
This is a piece that should definitely be displayed. I would prop it up on a console or side table against a wall and add some other decorating items. Things you treasure and a vase with flowers.
Another idea (and you might think it crazy but I guess that´s exactly what you like!), if it´s heavy and made out of metal and sturdy enough to step on, why don´t you use it as a welcome mat right outside your front door?
Have a great week!
Thanks for the suggestions! This piece is not wooden. It is somewhere near 2" square (I am pretty bad at guessing, but that's my guess.) IT is hollow in the back like it was made from a mold but it is SUPER heavy. It looks like some kind of fiberglass though, which I would not expect to be heavy. I love the idea of a collage...if I can pull it off... I will post back whatever I end up doing. Thanks again!
